Today, I’ve finally had a few moments to bring some of my archived photographs into my new Lightroom. I only started using Lightroom last year, previously I used Adobe Bridge + Photoshop for all my editing and processing. But with so many files, I realized I need to get moving on an archiving system.
Now, I’ve finally loaded my work from 2 years ago, with the City of Pitt Meadows. It’s great to look back at the photos and remember meeting and visiting some unique and wonderful people and places. I also took a few moments to pick out my favorites, and make some more artistic adjustments in Lightroom.
After the cathartic process of editing these photos again, and placing them up on the blog, I see a pattern in my favorites. They are all so quiet, follow similar composition rules and have a contemplative feel. Do you see that? Leave a comment, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
