Gen and Neil. Can’t say enough about these two, they may have stolen each other’s hearts- but they’ve stolen mine too. From the engagment shoot that they won at the Westwood Plateau Wedding Fair, to the absolutely perfect wedding day at Eighteen Pastures in Mission BC- these two were amazing to work with.
Gen and Neil worked so hard to put together a Pinterest worthy wedding decor- much of it hand made including AMAZING props for their photobooth. Blue hydrangeas in mason jars, vintage style candy bar, quilts, old trunks and hay bales: it was totally country vintage and a perfect match for Eighteen Pastures’ amazing big red barn, and stunning vistas. With a parking lot full of RV’s, this day started out with a blindfolded groom getting to have a quick chat with his gorgeous bride before the ceremony. Afterwards, it was a whirlwind photography trip out on the golf course and then over to Whonnock Lake (about 8 minutes away) for some quiet shots with just the bride and groom.
I have to thank Slava- a photographer who we met on the dock at Whonnock Lake for lending us an extra hand to hold the softbox.
Gen and Neil, it’s been a pleasure and I can’t wait to relive that gorgeous dress of yours!
