Ginny is the apple of Kelsey’s eye. These two have a new but very special relationship and this once broodmare will now to anything for Kelsey, including chasing cattle, drill and riding in a night parade.
Gastown is a long way from Mission, and wow! Did I feel like kid in a candy store. It’s a stray from the usual country setting I’ve been photographing most of the summer. Congrats to Neda and Craig! Watch for these two in the spring for session #2, minus the cold and rain
Danielle’s mom called me asking me to squeeze her in for a shoot, as Rocky the leadline pony is moving on to another family, and Danielle is moving up to a new horse. We got to say a happy goodbye and create some lasting memories of the pair.
Two of my favorite living things: Ashley and our horse Indy. Indy is 26 years old, and is the most wonderful honest mare you have ever seen. She’s bombproof, safe, broke, takes care of her little rider and is the first horse to be visibly afraid of my off-camera lighting! Wouldn’t you know! She gave Mady… Read More
I first met Matt and Krista at their Engagement Session last summer (they are the stunning couple of slide 2 on my home page)- and was over the moon when they called on me once again for a maternity session. I’m so happy for the both of them, and can’t wait to see photos of baby Koen!
Tristyn is saying goodbye to Bart as he goes to a new owner and she starts a new chapter of her life post-graduation. I wish them both the very best, and honored to have captured the memories of their bond.
A couple of years ago, my friend Margie adopted a Thoroughbred mare from J and M Acres Horse Rescue in Maple Ridge, BC and she wanted to honor the growth of their relationship with a session. Despite a hot summer evening with more bugs than any of us could handle, I got some great captures of Margie and Crystal (AKA… Read More
Marlie and Nemo- I’m at a loss for words as I review my personal favorites from the session. Oh, to be young, beautiful and have the love of a great horse. Thank you to Marlie’s mom, Leslie, for helping with the lighting equipment.
Jess is a social media maven, an entrepreneur, and just plain fun to work with. Special thank you to Amber Breen Photography for being an awesome sidekick. Watch for Jess to launch something very cool in the near future, using her mix of photos from this fun editorial session.
