I’m at a loss for words, Baby Kinley is just that darn cute. She’s the latest addition to an incredible family where I board my two horses. Her mom Janelle has been so helpful around the barn, doing more than her fair share – so I brought out the pink chair and had a mini session as a thank you… Read More
Just before Christmas, my dear friend Sandra had me out for her annual holiday card family photo. Now, I’m never a fan of Christmas after Christmas, but I waited to share this story as a poignant example of photographer as memory maker, not just picture taker. I arrived at Sandra’s with a small window of time to make this photo… Read More
As the title of this blog suggests, this session was a little complicated. We all knew what we were getting ourselves into, but when go-time arrives and the chicken is the most co-operative of the bunch, you know it’s going to be a tough session. The cat was the most frustrating- in fact, he was no show. Despite this, we… Read More
These photos don’t tell the full version of my second session with Little Miss Kelsey! Kelsey does what she wants when she wants and is way to smart to fall for bribes. I’m not going to sugar coat it, there were moments when Mom and I wondered if we’d get the shots at all. But Kelsey has an infectious zest… Read More
Enjoy this super-cuteness of Kelsey and her boxer Jenna, photographed in Mission, BC
There is something very, very special about Hanna and Sprite and I am the luckiest person in the world to get to photograph them. I have never captured so many photos in a session, simply because I could not help myself- these two were just so cute and the setting in Pitt Meadows was just gorgeous.
Danielle’s mom called me asking me to squeeze her in for a shoot, as Rocky the leadline pony is moving on to another family, and Danielle is moving up to a new horse. We got to say a happy goodbye and create some lasting memories of the pair.
Two of my favorite living things: Ashley and our horse Indy. Indy is 26 years old, and is the most wonderful honest mare you have ever seen. She’s bombproof, safe, broke, takes care of her little rider and is the first horse to be visibly afraid of my off-camera lighting! Wouldn’t you know! Regardless, we had a perfect fall session… Read More
It’s with a heavy heart that the Smith family of Mission, BC had to say goodbye to Rhea, Mady’s horse. Rhea was a sainted horse who was rescued at auction at the age of 30+ and ridden extensively by Mady for 2 years. She was the perfect kids horse- safe, sound and with get up and go. She gave Mady… Read More
I first met Matt and Krista at their Engagement Session last summer (they are the stunning couple of slide 2 on my home page)- and was over the moon when they called on me once again for a maternity session. I’m so happy for the both of them, and can’t wait to see photos of baby Koen!
