I’m not going to call this a session- it was really just 10 or so minutes of me testing out my new 40 2.8 pancake lens, with Chelsea – one of my go-to assistants for equine sessions and Sadie, the barn dog. Sadie’s one of those barn dogs that has a mean bark but sure loves company, especially Chelsea.

In February, I had a tour of a local private bird sanctuary as part of a field study for the Garibaldi Art Club. When I see birds I don’t necessarily think of my camera, but this little tour had me falling in love with birding.
